Nepal is going through a moment of great difficulty due to the second wave of Covid-19.
Following the report by our Nepalese volunteers, we decided to help 130 families of the Chepang community by donating them a food kit for a month‘s survival.
These communities live in hilltop villages and caves where the soil is not very fertile for the cultivation of vegetables, which are used for their daily subsistence, what remains together with small handicrafts are sold in local markets.
Today with the lockdown in progress and the closure of the markets they have great food difficulties and risk famine.
The affected villages are Labang and Chingmang.
The distribution took place by reaching some families inside caves dug into the rock and following the torrential rain, distributing food kits was carried out at a school.
